Parsa Fard
Parsa Fard is a Montréal-based artist and designer working across video, drawing, and object design. His video work has been screened internationally at festivals such as the International Meeting on Video Dance and Video Performance (EIVV, Valencia, Spain) and the Student World Impact Film Festival (SWIFF, New York, U.S.). His practice explores the relationship between human nature and technology by critically examining how media shapes contemporary society.
Parsa is the Creative Director of Concordia’s Undergraduate Journal of Art History (CUJAH), where he leads the design of its annual publication. His design work often operates at the intersection of ecological and industrial design. At Concordia’s Innovation Lab, he is leading a team of designers in developing modular, low-cost structures for regenerative greenhouses. Over the past year, he has also collaborated with Ontario farmers to create technological solutions that support regenerative agricultural practices.
